Terms and Conditions of Sale

Article 1 — Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (the “Terms”) govern all sales concluded between The Vintage Digger (the “Seller”) and any buyer (the “Customer”) through the website www.thevintagedigger.com. Placing an order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.

Article 2 — Items offered

The items offered are carefully selected second-hand clothing and accessories. Each piece is unique (only one available). Descriptions and photos faithfully reflect the condition of each item. The state of preservation is specified on each product page: new with tags, excellent, very good, good or fair condition.

Article 3 — Prices

Prices are displayed in euros (€), all taxes included. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed separately during checkout. The Seller reserves the right to change its prices at any time; the applicable price is the one in force when the order is confirmed.

Article 4 — Placing an order

An order is confirmed after selecting the item, choosing the delivery method and completing secure payment. A confirmation e-mail summarising the order is sent to the Customer upon receipt of payment. The sale is definitively concluded at that moment.

Article 5 — Payment

Payment is made exclusively online by card through the secure Stripe platform. Card details never pass through the Seller's servers. If payment fails, the order is automatically cancelled.

Article 6 — Delivery

Orders are shipped to the following zones: Europe. The indicative delivery time is 3 to 7 working days from order confirmation. A tracking number is sent by e-mail as soon as the parcel is dispatched. The Seller cannot be held liable for delays attributable to the carrier.

Article 7 — Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has 7 calendar days from receipt of the parcel to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason and without penalty.

To exercise this right, the Customer must notify their decision by e-mail to contact@thevintagedigger.com before the deadline expires. Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer. Returned items must be in their original condition, unworn and unwashed. The refund is issued within 14 days of receiving and checking the return.

Article 8 — Legal warranties

In accordance with Articles L217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Customer benefits from the legal warranty of conformity. The Customer may also rely on the warranty against hidden defects provided for in Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code.

Article 9 — Customer service and complaints

Article 10 — Mediation

In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably, the Customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge. The European Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Article 11 — Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts. In the event of any discrepancy between the French and English versions of these Terms, the French version prevails.
